It is stitched in a 14" baffle box design. This item contains no chemical flame retardants and is non-toxic.

The comforter features soft, long-staple cotton sateen bordered by satin piping for warmth and a refined touch. Its classic box construction is baffled for consistent appearance and warmth, with a 300-thread-count cotton that caresses you from dusk until dawn. Select your warmth level—lightweight or warm—with guidance: lightweight suits bedroom temperatures around 69–74°F, warm around 64–68°F. Larger down clusters can increase fill power to provide loft, and it is available in sizes from Twin to Super King.
